Don't fall for the scams all the agencies perpetuate. They call it a free score and only provide it if you give them a credit card number. You have to cancel the account within seven days to not be charged for their credit watch program. You are entitled to a yearly free report from all the agency's. it is under the AnnualCreditReport.com URL. AnnualCreditReport.com is the ONLY authorized source to get your free annual credit report under federal law. Any URL with free in the title is a scam and it will cost you if you fail to opt out in time.

There are three major credit reporting companies:

Please note that the three credit agencies will rarely give you the same identical credit score. Although very similar, t1hey have small and subtle differences in how they calculate your credit score, therefore although the differences won't be large there will be some variation.

The best place I've found that's TOTALLY FREE for your FICO Score is www.quizzle.com. As Rick stated, you can get your report from www.AnnualCreditReport.com, however, you do not get your actual score. Quizzle gives you the score and is very user friendly.
